At Academy Cremation Urns, we are committed to providing a reliable and efficient shipping service across Australia. This policy outlines our delivery options, costs, and terms to ensure transparency for our customers.

1. Shipping Rates & Delivery Options

We offer the following shipping options within Australia:

Standard Shipping (Tracked)

  • Orders under $100.00: Flat-rate shipping of $10.00
  • Orders over $100.00: FREE Standard Shipping

Express Shipping (Tracked)

  • Flat-rate Express Shipping: $25.00 (available on all orders)

Local Collection (Free)

  • Customers may collect their order in person from our funeral home at no cost.

  • Pick-up Times: Available by appointment. Please contact us at mail@academyfunerals.com.au or 07 3261 8222 to arrange a suitable time.

2. Processing & Dispatch Times

  • Orders are processed and dispatched within 1-3 business days after payment has cleared.
  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
  • You will receive a tracking number via email once your order has been shipped.

3. Estimated Delivery Timeframes

The estimated delivery times for Standard and Express shipping are as follows:

  • Delivery times may vary due to Australia Post or courier delays, especially during peak periods.
  • Remote and regional areas may require additional time for delivery.

4. Shipping Carriers & Tracking

  • We use Australia Post and other reliable courier services for shipping.
  • All parcels include tracking, and a tracking link will be provided via email once your order has been dispatched.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring their shipping address is correct at checkout. We are not liable for lost or delayed parcels due to incorrect address details.

5. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Parcels

We take great care in packaging and shipping your items; however, unforeseen issues may arise during transit.

  • If your parcel has not arrived within the estimated timeframe, please check the tracking details before contacting us.
  • If your item is lost in transit or arrives damaged, please contact us at mail@academyfunerals.com.au within 5 days of receiving your parcel, and provide:
    • Your order number
    • A photo of the damaged item (if applicable)
    • Any relevant tracking details
  • In the case of lost or damaged items, we will work with the shipping provider to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
  • If an item is confirmed lost or damaged, we will offer a replacement or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

6. International Shipping

  • At this time, we only ship within Australia.
  • If you are an international customer interested in purchasing our products, please contact us at mail@academyfunerals.com.au to discuss possible shipping options.

7. Incorrect Address & Return to Sender

  • If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address or failure to collect from the post office, we will contact you to arrange redelivery.
  • Redelivery will be at the customer’s expense.
  • If you do not wish to have the item re-shipped, we can issue a store credit (excluding original shipping costs).
